Bushy's Beer Tent hosts its first wedding

Bushy’s Beer Tent on Douglas Promenade will be put to an all together different use today – as it plays host to its first wedding.

Mark Sayle and Voirrey Clague will tie the knot in the tent – which is usually full of visiting bikers at this time during the TT period.

The couple responded to an advert in the newspaper which appealed for any people interested in using the tent as a wedding venue.

The ceremony started at 10.30 and members of the public have been urged to go down to the tent to enjoy the festivities when it opens at 12pm.
