The Chairman of the Communications Commission says he’s disappointed to hear of legal action being taken by Cable and Wireless.
The company has begun proceedings against the regulatory body for not investigating Manx Telecom for an alleged breach of a fair trading condition in its licence.
The firm claims Manx Telecom is charging customers too much to make calls to mobiles on the Cable and Wireless network.
Juan Watterson admits new regulations are needed for the industry but says the legal action will delay that from happening.[play media file below]
