Has the TT atmosphere on the Prom lost its fizz?

The atmosphere on Douglas Promenade during the TT Festival has lost some its fizz according to the owner of Bushy’s Beer Tent.

It’s the fifteenth year the temporary bar and music stage have been put up at the Bottleneck Car Park.

Before that, fans and locals gathered outside the old Bushy’s Pub over the road to soak up the atmosphere and watch the entertainment – whether it was pre-arranged stunt shows or impromptu pranks from visiting bikers.

Since then, TT on the Promenade has evolved and Martin Brunnschweiler thinks it’s lacking something that it had in its hay day. [Play media file below]
