Police confirm another fatality

Police have confirmed that there has been another fatality on the Mountain Road.

It happened at approximately 6.55am this morning on the approach to the 32nd milestone.

Involved in the collision were four bikes - a multi coloured Honda, a blue Yamaha, a red, white and blue Honda and a red Honda.

At the time of the incident all four bikes were travelling along the Mountain Road towards Douglas.

One of the motor cyclists suffered fatal injuries – the others received varying non life threatening injuries.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision including a group of bikers who were parked in the TT marshals car park.

The Mountain Road was due to reopen at 2pm but this has now been extended to 3pm.
