Visiting biker killed on Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road

A visiting biker was killed yesterday (Tuesday) after a road traffic collision on the main Laxey to Ramsey Coast Road.

The incident happened at 11.30am at Bulgham.

Involved in the incident were a blue and white Suzuki motorbike, which was being ridden by a man from the North East of England, and a red Citroen car which was being driven by a local man.

The motorbike was being ridden North, with the car travelling in the direction of Laxey.

The motorbike rider sustained fatal injuries - the occupants of the other vehicle were uninjured.

Police closed the road for around six hours while they conducted enquiries at the scene.

They would now like to speak to anyone who witnessed this collision.
