Police in the south of the Island have warned people to be vigilant after a number of opportunistic thefts in the area.
During the early hours of Tuesday two young people entered a number of insecure properties in Port St Mary as well as stealing items from cars that were unlocked.
They have since been identified, located and charged.
Sergeant Adrian Shimmin said the crimes had coincided with the good weather and urged people to deny criminals the chance to carry out these types of offences by locking doors and windows.
