Police aim to catch dangerous motorists before crashes

Thu, 17 May 2012

Police on patrol during the TT festival will be trying to get dangerous motorists off the roads before they can cause accidents.

The annual campaign to try to cut the number of crashes has been launched today.

There's a big focus on accident prevention and this year's posters show the different hazards that bikers may face around the TT course.

The Isle of Man Constabulary will have a visible presence at accident black spots and is aiming for a robust approach to enforcement.

Chief Constable Mike Langdon says it's unfortunate that some crashes are inevitable [play clip]
