Search teams find missing man

A man who went missing earlier today has been taken to hospital after being found in Port Soderick.

Officers asked for help finding the 36 year old, who they believed would be in the Port Soderick or Braaid area.

Police officers, dogs, Search and Rescue, the Coastguard, Civil Defence and Douglas lifeboat crews were all involved in the search for the man.

He's not thought to be suffering any ill effects from the experience, but police say he has been taken to Noble's as a precautionary measure.

The public is being thanked for its assistance and co-operation.
