The TT Marshals Association says it wouldn't condone any strike by race volunteers.
It comes after it was suggested that some marshals could take action for an hour on Senior Race Day.
The idea was from some of those unhappy with the proposed changes to the Manx Grand Prix and was discussed on internet forums.
Chairman of the TTMA Terry Holmes doesn't support strike action and says it would only affect the riders.
He told Energy FM News that actions and words like this would do the MGP and the TT more harm than good.
