Manx cyclist Mark Cavendish is calling for the rider that brought him down in yesterday's Giro d'Italia stage to be sent home.
Roberto Ferrari cut across the world champion's path just before the finish line, causing him to crash at 75kph.
Cavendish was able to carry his bike over the line.
Afterwards, the Team Sky rider took to Twitter, saying Ferrari should be ashamed of the manoeuvre, which also caused the overall leader to crash.
Cavendish also asked whether Ferrari's team or the governing body the UCI would "do the right thing", stating that he had been sent home from races for much less.
Team Sky's doctor says the Tour de France green jersey winner is very uncomfortable following the crash.
