Campaigners want government to revise MGP proposals

A group of Manx Grand Prix supporters believe proposals to change the event could lead to its demise.

An online petition asking the Department of Economic Development to reconsider the proposals has over 700 signatures.

Campaigners have concerns over the 'Clubman's TT' and Classic races in terms of the number of classes and riders.

They say they support the need for change but they think the government may have acted naively inits dealings with the Manx Motor Cycle Club.

They are asking that alternative proposals be considered
