The Economic Development Minister is being asked to declare his support for the Manx Grand Prix.
North Douglas MHK John Houghton is asking John Shimmin to announce his Department's support for the event.
Earlier this week, the DED said it wants to cut the MGP from a 2 week to 10 day festival, with all racing being held over a four day period.
It hopes the proposed changes will make it the premier series of classic motorbike races in the world.
Mr Shimmin will answer the question in next week's sitting of the House of Keys.
