The Department of Infrastructure is beginning work to show the public where the public rights of way at Langness are.
Maps will be amended to show the routes, and signs will be put up in the area.
It follows a judgment from Deemster Doyle last week, ruling that there are public rights of way on the peninsula.
All the footpaths are currently open except for the path heading from the lighthouse to the foghorn.
A footbridge there is unsafe and repairs will be carried out over the coming weeks.
An appeal against the court's decision can be made within 6 weeks of the judgment.
The paths are on land at Castletown Golf Links and around the lighthouse owned by Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson.
