Liverpool sailings go ahead despite gales

Today's Liverpool sailings will be going ahead as scheduled despite the weather forecast.

The Steam Packet Company has confirmed the 3.00pm crossing and the return journey at 7.15pm will operate.

Earlier, the Manannan's sailings between the Island and Heysham were cancelled.

Gusts reaching up to gale force 8 are forecast.
