Final decision on Liverpool sailings due at 12.30pm

A final decision on this afternoon's sailing to Liverpool will be taken at lunchtime.

The Steam Packet Company says it will re-assess the conditions at 12.30pm to give the Manannan's crossing every chance to take place.

This morning's journey to Heysham and the return sailing at 12.00pm were cancelled due to the forecast conditions in the Irish Sea.

The Manannan is due to sail to Liverpool at 3.00pm, returning at 7.15pmGusts reaching gale force 8 are expected.
