More TT preparation works on the Mountain Road

Works to ensure the Mountain Road is up to scratch for TT continue today.

The Department of Infrastructure had been due to carry out resurfacing works at the Hairpin over the weekend.

However the Ramsey Chamber of Commerce was concerned that the Mountain Road would be closed whilst it was hosting a charity event.

As a result, temporary repairs will take place at the hairpin today, with full resurfacing being completed after TT.

The A18 is due to close at 9.15am, re-opening by 4.00 this afternoon.
