Jobs at risk at Isle of Man Newspapers

There's a risk of redundancies at the Isle of Man Newspapers.

A proposed organisational restructure has been announced following a review by the board.

The roles which are marked for redundancy are the Senior Advertising Manager, Business Development Manager, Training Manager and a Field Sales Rep.

Voluntary redundancy will also be sought from the editorial team.

In a statement, Isle of Man Newspapers claims the move will help provide expert content gathering and maximise revenue opportunities.

The company is currently in consultation with staff.

Seven print staff lost their jobs earlier this year when printing was moved off-Island.
