Ben enters dry dock

The Ben-my-Chree is beginning a 3 week dry dock period today.

The Steam Packet's passenger and freight vessel carried out her last sailing prior to going out of service last night.

The dry docking is for maintenance work which is undertaken every 2 years.

In the meantime, Manannan will be operating all the passenger sailings, whilst are freight vessel has been chartered to carry cargo on one return sailing per day.

The Ben is scheduled to return to service on May 6th.
