It's not yet known if the Isle of Man branch of Mothercare will be affected by store closures announced this morning.
The baby goods retailer is to shut a further 111 of its shops to slash costs.
Mothercare says it's not announcing the locations of the stores that will close as they willl shut progressively over the next few years.
It's reported that the majority of the closures across the UK will affect Early Learning Centre stores which are owned by Mothercare.
It's already been announced that the current Early Learning Centre shop in the Strand Shopping Centre will close next month and the unit it occupies is being advertised to let.
