Walk to the Tower of Refuge this evening

Hundreds of walkers are expected to take part in a guided walk to the Tower of Refuge this evening.

Organisers are urging those who are planning on going to wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

It's expected the walk will begin at around 5.45pm, but the times may be altered depending on the weather conditions.

Due to remedial works on the tower, walkers won't be able to go inside the structure, but organisers say a further walk may be planned for in the future.

Those wanting to go on the walk are to meet at the Jubilee Kiosk.
