Paramedics on the Island will be using a new tool to help patients in cardiac arrest.
6 local charities have donated £120,000, which has been used to purchase thirteen LUCAS chest compression devices.
The unit goes over the patient's chest and provides CPR.
The devices will be shared between the ambulance service, Noble's Hospital and Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital.
