A member of the Department of Home Affairs' Independent Monitoring Board is to stand for Onchan Commissioners in the upcoming local authority elections.
Rob Callister lists recycling, neighbourhood policing and further investigation into the health effects of mobile phone masts as some of his main priorities.
As well as his work on the Independent Monitoring Board, Mr Callister is also a Fiduciary Manager at a Douglas based investment company and has worked in the finance sector for 14 years.
Elections are being held for all local government boards on the Island on April 26th.
