Peel lifeboat crew is reminding all boat and water craft users to make sure their vessels are in good working order before heading out to sea.
The Peel crew was called out yesterday evening after a jet ski broke down near Peel Breakwater.
The passengers alerted the lifeboat by shouting to people on the pier, and one of the passengers was in the water without a life jacket.
The lifeboat towed the jet ski back to the breakwater.
Port Erin lifeboat crew was also called out to assist a jet ski yesterday.
Peel RNLI says the good weather means people are taking to the sea with little preparation.
