Nursery protest planned ahead of Tynwald sitting

Another demonstration over cuts to the Island's nursery and preschool services is taking place later.

The protest has been organised through Facebook, with over 70 people saying they're attending.

It's being held on Prospect Hill ahead of this month's sitting of Tynwald.

Those behind the protest are unhappy at Government plans to close its preschools in order to save money.

A working party set up by the Chief Minister is currently looking at other options for the next academic year.

The demonstration is due to get underway at 9.30am.
