Police station building to host children's support group

The former Pulrose Police Station is to be used for a children's day support project.

The new police station will be ready for use next month.

Douglas Council plans to use the old building for housing, but won't have funding available until mid 2013 at the earliest.

Therefore, the Department of Social Care has asked the Council if it can use the building for the support group for a two year period.

The local authority's policy and resources committee has agreed to let the Department use the property.
