Engineers are investigating after the right hand undercarriage on a plane landing at Ronaldsway collapsed.

Links Air, which operates the aircraft on behalf of Manx 2, will try to find out what caused the problem.

The Leeds-Bradford flight had made a normal approach to the Island just before 6.00 yesterday evening when the undercarriage appeared to collapse on landing, with the Jetstream 31 coming to rest on the grass at the side of the runway.

All 12 passengers and two crew were unhurt.

Manx2 is thanking those who helped during the incident for their swift response.
