A Manx2 plane has been involved in an emergency incident at Ronaldsway.

The Jetstream 31 aircraft operated by Links Air was arriving in the Island from Leeds Bradford, when the right-hand undercarriage collapsed on landing.

Airport Director Anne Reynolds told Energy FM News the aircraft had made a normal approach in good weather shortly before 6pm.

The plane was carrying 12 passengers and two crew.

Everyone got off the aircraft safely and there were no injuries.

Flights in and out of Ronaldsway resumed around 50 minutes later.

One passenger shared pictures and wrote about the incident on Twitter saying, "My Manx2 plane just crash landed in the Isle of Man. We all walked off OK."
