The construction of the new school at Bemahague is on schedule and on budget with just four months to go until the project is finished.
The £33.8m school is due to open to 700 pupils from St Ninian's High School in September.
Work is currently focused on fitting out the school, with the delivery of the all weather pitch and tennis court area expected in the coming weeks.
The Department of Education and Children will be able to start moving furniture into the school from the start of April as areas of the building are finished.
A footbridge between the school and Governor's Hill is also due to open shortly.
