The number of people caught drink driving has fallen by nearly 40% in the last four years.
Figures show 73 people were convicted of being over the limit in 2011, compared to 121 in 2007.
The total number for each year in between saw a steady fall.
The figures were revealed in a House of Keys written answer following a series of questions about breath tests from Onchan MHK Zac Hall.
However, Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson wasn't able to reveal how many breath tests had been carried out in the last five years, as police equipment doesn't record the number of times it's used.
