Diesel poured over man in Pulrose

Police are appealing for witnesses after diesel was poured over a young man in Pulrose.

The assault took place on Springfield Avenue at around 5.00pm on Friday.

The victim was taken to hospital but didn't suffer serious injuries.

Police made an arrest following the incident. They say the suspect is known to the victim and that there was no threat to the safety of the community in general.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
