Tynwald sitting continues with question paper

The February sitting of Tynwald continues later this morning.

After passing the budget yesterday evening, members will turn to the question paper today.

Douglas East MHK Brenda Cannell has a series of questions relating to care for the elderly, whilst Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan is asking the Chief Minister to make a statement about the recent British Irish Council meeting in Dublin.

Later, Allan Bell will also make a statement on the Freedom of Information Bill, which has been on hold whilst further investigations into the cost of the legislation were evaluated.

Tynwald resumes from 10.30 this morning.
