Klaffenbock forms sidecar team

A three time Isle of Man TT sidecar champion is starting his own racing team to compete at this year's races.

Klaus Klaffenbock retired from racing in September, but will still be taking part in TT through his race outfit, Cofain Racing by Klaffi.

The Austrian won both sidecar races in 2010 and one last year with Manx passenger Dan Sayle.

Klaffi has signed brothers Ben and Tom Birchall to race for him.

The 2009 sidecar world champions have raced at TT twice before, and hold the second fastest newcomers lap time.
