Isle of Man aims to become world's top small business centre

The Economic Development Minister wants the Island to become the world's leading small business centre.

John Shimmin believes further growth and diversity within the economy will allow the Island to be successful in the future.

His department is focusing on developing new and emerging industries such as e-gaming and clean tech, whilst supporting more traditional sectors such as finance.

The message comes following the Chief Minister's recent call for an "agenda of change".

Mr Shimmin hopes becoming the top small business centre in the world will have a positive effect on those looking for work [play clip]
