Record breaking sales for Grandstand tickets

Tickets for seats in the grandstand at this year's TT have almost sold out.

TT organisers say there have been record breaking ticket sales for the 2012 races.

Seats at the Glencrutchery Road site are sold out for 3 of the 4 race days, with only a few left for the Monday of race week.

There are 500 people on a waiting list for grandstand tickets for Senior Race Day.

New grandstands at 5 "fan zones" around the course are also selling well, with some days sold out already.

Tourism bosses say there's been a huge jump in demand for tickets, and that early bookings suggest visitor numbers will be up.
