An MHK is concerned following the announcement that one of the Island's residential homes is to close in two years time.
Bill Henderson is worried about where the residents will go once Glenside closes in 2014.
Social Care Minister Chris Robertshaw announced that the facility will shut in the House of Keys yesterday.
Mr Henderson believes closing the home will result in a shortage of beds for those who need care.
Glenside is no longer taking new admissions, and current residents will be given the chance to transfer to new facilities being opened at Southlands and in the north of the Island.
The Department of Social Care held a series of meetings with staff, residents and family of residents following the announcement.
