Flybe's direct service between the Isle of Man and Southampton will cease operating from 27th February.
The carrier has confirmed it's taken the commercial decision to cancel the route, which continues on to Brussels.
Passenger numbers are too low to financially justify its continued operation, according to the company.
People who have already booked to travel after the 27th will be contacted and offered a refund or re-accommodated on alternative flights.
It's understood the airport is making enquiries to see if another carrier would be interested in taking on the Southampton service.
