Police name biker killed in crash as Laxey teenager

Police have named the biker killed in a crash at Baldrine last Wednesday.

19 year old Douglas Aaron Spencer, known as Doug, from Laxey died when his Yamaha motorbike collided with a silver Honda Jazz.

Officers say they've received a good response from the public after appealing for witnesses.

However, they're still keen to hear from anyone who remembers seeing a black Yamaha being ridden towards Laxey, or a Honda Jazz heading towards Baldrine on Wednesday evening.

Anyone who can help police with their inquiries is asked to contact their local police station.
