Treasury Minister back plans for change in Government

The Treasury Minister is supporting the Chief Minister's recent call for change in the Government.

Eddie Teare says Allan Bell's plans to cut the public sector wage bill by 10% and review the planning system, benefits and the scope of Government, are an agenda for historic change.

Mr Teare says doing nothing isn't an option, but that a slash and burn approach to spending could damage the economy.

He says everything must be scrutinised to ensure it provides value for money to the Manx tax payer [play clip]
