Youths gain qualification after attending unemployment support group

Three teenagers have gained qualifications after attending a support group for unemployed youths.

The trio, from the north of the Island, took the course in health and well being and healthy living through the National Open College Network with support from Ramsey Youth Club.

As a result, one of the group now has a job with Crossroads Caring for Carers, another is continuing to study at the Isle of Man College, whilst the third is looking to do a higher course through the NOCN.

The qualification took six months to complete.
