Staff at the Department of Community Culture and Leisure have been warned of looming job losses.
The DCCL wrote to workers on Monday to give them an update on a staffing review.
It came just a short time after the Chief Minister warned that £30 million needs to be cut from public sector wage bill over the next four years.
In the letter, Chief Executive Nick Black says they need to focus on operating efficient businesses and developing new commercial direction and this means a new staffing structure is needed.
He says this will affect existing posts and some of those will be lost [play clip]
