Witnesses sought to bar disturbance

Police are appealing for witnesses to a disturbance outside a bar in the south of the Island to come forward.

A 29 year old man was arrested following the incident in the courtyard outside Fusion in Callow's Yard at around 11.10 on Saturday night.

Officers are trying to piece together what happened in the run up to the disturbance.

Police are stressing that this kind of incident is rare, and that they work closely with licensees in the south of the Island to make sure everyone can have a safe night out.

Anyone who saw what happened at Fusion are asked to contact Castletown Police Station.
