A new benefit that replaces FIS and disability working allowance will be introduced from the end of the month.
Employed Person's Allowance was given approval in Tynwald this week.
EPA is an income related benefit for people who are in work but are on low incomes.
It's said to be more efficient for the Department of Social Care than the old allowances it replaces.
The Department says people who claim will still get the same amount of money as they do now.
Claimants will be contacted to be told of the change.
