Changes to education grants on the way?

The Education Minister says he can't give any future financial commitments about the funding of higher education ahead of the budget.

In Tynwald today, Peter Karran wouldn't say what changes if any his department plans to make to the student grant system.

Mr Karran would not commit to giving details at the moment but gave reassurance that students already at university and in higher education won't see any difference to the financial support they get.

However, it seems changes are likely in future..[play clip]
