First sitting of Tynwald in 2012

Tynwald sits for the first time in 2012 today.

Topics including the Steam Packet Company, CinemaNX and the land swap at Michael Primary School will be discussed this morning as part of the question paper.

Elsewhere on the order paper, Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson will move the Council of Ministers report into the TV licence committee.

Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft will call for the Government to close the MEA retail stores.

The January sitting of Tynwald gets underway from 10.30
