Police are thanking members of the public for their help after two con artists were caught following a series of distraction thefts last week.
Officers appealed for help catching the pair after they targeted businesses on the Island, stealing money whilst asking shopkeepers for help changing money.
23 year old Razvan Sava and 26 year old Lenuta Rostasi, both Romanian nationals, were arrested following a sighting by the public.
Both appeared in court this morning, where they were given 6 month jail terms and a 5 year exclusion order.
Officers say they were able to catch the pair before they had chance to leave the Island thanks to the response of the Manx public.
