The Company running the Island's Meat plant has released its recovery plan.
Isle of Man Meats says it needs to fulfil local market needs, explore the export market and manage supply and producer relations.
It was announced yesterday that a new Chief Executive has been brought in for three months to help turn the plant around.
The Chairman of the Company says the plan is quite aspirational and will take time to implement.
Graham Crowe says the meat plant also needs more help from Government, having already sought money from the Agricultural Development Fund [play clip]
