No PIP implants for Isle of Man women
Fri, 13 Jan 2012
No women on the Isle of Man are thought to be affected by the PIP breast implant scare.
The Department of Health says no patients treated on Island either on the NHS or privately, or NHS patients sent to the UK have had the defective implants.
The Department is still monitoring the situation.
Should anyone on the Island be identified as having PIP implants the Department of Health here says it will follow the guidance issued by health chiefs in the UK.
