Rally Isle of Man confirms 2012 return

Rally Isle of Man is to return this year.

It's been confirmed that the event is to make its comeback, with organisers planning the rally for September 21st and 22nd.

Last year's Rally Isle of Man was cancelled after a change of dates led to a host of problems.

The former board of Rally Isle of Man has retired in its entirety, meaning new personnel are now behind the event.

The board says it's been approached by the British Historical Rally Championship to be the final round of the Water End Properties Asphalt Cup.
