Woman needed medics following Hibernia crash

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

Police are investigating after a woman needed medical attention following a crash in Maughold.

Two cars were damaged in the collision at Hibernia Crossroads at 2.30 on Monday afternoon.

Police, ambulance crews and Department of Infrastructure workers were called to the scene.

Paramedics treated the woman, who was a passenger in one of the cars involved, but she didn't need to be taken to hospital.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver of a blue or green van who was seen in the area just before the crash.

The man was wearing a blue woolly hat and turned onto the Hibernia Back Road.

Anyone with information which could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
