More recycling for Onchan residents

Residents of Onchan will be able to recycle their plastics again in the near future.

The village's Commissioners voted in favour of plans to have bring banks for plastic placed in several locations around Onchan.

Until recently, Onchan residents were able to recycle plastic bottles as part of the kerbside recycling scheme, before Commissioners decided to pull out of the scheme.

There are already bring banks for other materials in the village.

The banks will be at Birch Hill, the Commissioners Car Park, Sea Cliff Road and the Park.
